Science popularization was held within the frame of IGCP-724
Science popularization is purposed to popularizing natural and social science knowledge in a way that is easy to understand, accept, and be involved for the public. Particularly, geohazards related science should more great attention to science popularization as that is tightly linked to People’ lives. Within this context, Media center of China Earthquake Administration and IGCP-724 project invited Professor Zhi Chen to bring the science lecture entitled "Monitoring methods of underground fluids and their application in earthquake forecasting" on 27th of October. The lecture was intended to improve the common senses for the public such as what is fluid anomalies? Why the anomalies form? And how to identify them and use them in the field of earthquake forecasting?
The lectured was succeed and attracted nearly a hundred people both in the room and online.
